It all started with the long weekend- Everyone I knew packed their backpacks to either go the the beach of somewhere out of the country. Since typhoon Mina decided to visit the Philippines during that time, lying down and lounging seems like the best idea. Next was turning the television on.
Nothing was on. It was either re-runs of ANTM or old movies staring Kevin Bacon at his prime but as hours passed and day turned to night, one animated show caught my eye.
Bob’s Burger.
Creator Loren Bouchard dwells in the lives of the Belcher Family- an ordinary yet humorous bunch who owns a burger joint by the local carnival. Everyday seems less ordinary and quirky but if you’re humor is too out there then this show isn’t for you.
In Family Guy, Peter Griffin will make you laugh. His tendencies to forget his responsibilities as a father to his children will make you laugh out loud. Bob Belcher is different- He would do everything for his children in the most hilarious way possible. The conflicts are mundane but what makes it entertaining is each character’s quirks and stunts.
Try watching it at around 9PM on Jack TV.
